Details:
In the picturesque coastal village of Port des Canonge, nestled in the spectacular Tramuntana landscape, lies this charming natural stone house – a place where Mallorca remains truly authentic. The small fishing village, far from mass tourism, captivates with its colourful houses, narrow lanes, and an idyllic beach just a few steps away. Hiking trails run along the coastline and through untouched nature, while the well-known towns of Esporles, Banyalbufar, Valldemossa, and even Palma are only a short drive away.
The house, a building with history and 60-centimetre-thick natural stone walls, was lovingly and thoroughly renovated in 2025. The renovation has preserved its traditional charm while combining it with the most modern living comfort. Large windows open up views of the sea, flooding the rooms with light and a sense of space. Inside, you will find a generous living area with a fireplace, an elegant kitchen with dining area and direct access to the terrace, a separate guest room with its own bathroom, and further bedrooms upstairs – each with an en-suite bathroom and magnificent views, in some cases even directly to the sea from the shower.
The outdoor area is a Mediterranean retreat: spread over two levels are a turquoise pool, sunny and shaded terraces, lemon trees, grapevines, and an ancient olive tree. Whether enjoying breakfast in the shade of the veranda or a sundowner on the balcony, you will always be accompanied by views of the sea and the unique coastal landscape.
From September 2025, this exceptional property will be available for rent for the first time. A retreat for those who appreciate peace, nature, and stylish living at the highest level – yet still wish to enjoy proximity to the island’s most beautiful places.
Location & surrounding area:
The old town of Banyalbufar which is bathed in country side and surrounded by terraces can be found on the northwest coast of Mallorca. In 2007 it had 591 inhabitants. Due to its location the villagers had to protect themselves from pirate and Arab invasions; this gives it its name. This is the reason for the existence of the war tower which today forms the town’s emblem and makes it a nice destination. Here one finds the original side of Mallorca and light tourism. Many pinewoods, a fantastic view of the sea, a steep coast due to geographical conditions and a small bay with a beach attract the more nature inclined visitors of the island.
