The coastal town of Son Serra de Marina which belongs to the municipality of Santa Margalida is a loved holliday town and can be found in the north of the island.
The town consists of mainly single two-storey houses and some apartment blocks. During the holliday season the community is made up of a mix of residents and foreigners who have their second homes. This gives the town a mellow and healty tourism dose.
The town’s attractions include the long sandy beach and the burial ground in Son Real as well as its natural country walks which lead directly along the coast all the way to Can Picafort.
