Description

This exceptional townhouse was built around 1900 and refurbished in 2006 and is located in the historic centre of Felanitx. Originally, it served as a stately residence with its own wine cellar – a piece of history that can still be felt throughout the property today. The historic entrances, through which grapes and wine were once brought into the cellar for processing, have been preserved and give the house a truly distinctive character. In later years, the property was thoughtfully transformed into an art gallery with its own atelier. Even today, every room reflects the creative atmosphere, generous proportions and beautiful natural light that make this house so special. The light-filled ground floor offers a spacious reception area, a bathroom, a kitchen and a laundry room. In addition, this level houses the former artist’s atelier, which can also be used as a garage and benefits from a separate street entrance – a valuable feature that opens up a wide range of possible uses. On the first floor, you will find the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, as well as a generous living area that impresses with its high ceilings, historic features and unique atmosphere. The top floor offers space for a complete guest area with two bedrooms, a bathroom and an additional living room. From here, there is access to the sunny terrace, which invites you to relax and creates a private retreat in the heart of the town. The current owners have renovated the house extensively and with great attention to detail. Particular importance was placed on preserving the original charm and historic elements of the property. Old arches have been retained, original tiles have been carefully restored and the former well has been brought back to life. At the same time, new materials were deliberately chosen to blend harmoniously with the style of this historic townhouse. Oil-fired central heating also ensures comfort during the cooler months. This special property offers an exceptional variety of possibilities. It is ideal for combining living and working, for example as a gallery, atelier, office or shop with street access in the historic centre of Felanitx. Equally, the house could be converted into a spacious family residence, several residential units or representative office spaces. A home for those who are not simply looking for a property, but for a place with soul, history and character. Anyone who appreciates charm, authenticity and a truly special atmosphere will feel immediately at home here. Show less Show more
