Description

Details: Just a few minutes from Sineu, one of the best-known towns in the heart of Mallorca, Son Marrón is an exceptional historic country estate of impressive proportions. The finca is administratively part of Lloret de Vistalegre, although its location and access are strongly oriented towards Sineu. Situated on the old Palma–Sineu road, the property combines close proximity to Sineu with absolute tranquillity and an expansive Mallorcan landscape. The estate extends over approximately 759,000 sqm, a scale that has become increasingly rare on the market in the Sineu area. At the heart of the property stands the historic main residence, “Les Cases Velles”, a two-storey building complex comprising several living areas, porches and storage spaces. A characteristic exterior staircase leads to the upper floor, where, according to the available documentation, there is a fully equipped residential unit. The main house is complemented by an extensive collection of traditional agricultural buildings, including former stables, storage facilities, farm buildings and various outbuildings. The documentation indicates approximately 920 m² of residential space, plus a further 823 m² of agricultural buildings. According to the historical records available, the origins of Son Marrón date back to the 13th century. The land once formed part of the Islamic Alquería Beni-Taref, which was already mentioned in 1232. Surrounding the buildings is a typically Mallorcan rural landscape with almond, carob and fig trees, wild olive trees, pines and holm oaks, together with extensive pasture and agricultural land. The combination of almost 76 hectares of land, a substantial historic building complex and the immediate proximity to Sineu makes Son Marrón a property of a kind that is now rarely found in the centre of Mallorca. Returns from holiday lettings: For initial orientation you can use the “Porta Holiday Returns Calculator” without obligation to calculate your potential returns from holiday letting. NB: Due to the current legal situation it is possible that in certain municipalities renting restrictions may apply, or new touristic licences may not be granted. Your Porta Mallorquina real estate consultant will be pleased to advise you whether the property you have chosen is affected. Go to Returns Calculator. Location & surrounding area: Lloret de Vistalegre is one of the most authentic villages in the heart of Mallorca, surrounded by an expansive Mediterranean landscape. The area offers tranquillity, privacy and genuine rural living without feeling isolated. Particularly appealing is its proximity to Sineu, whose historic centre, restaurants and well-known weekly market are just a few minutes away. The location therefore combines the best of both worlds: the space and peacefulness of the Mallorcan countryside with immediate access to one of the most attractive towns in the centre of the island.
