Description

Details: Just a few minutes from Sineu lies Son Marrón, an exceptional historic country estate in the heart of Mallorca. Administratively, the finca belongs to Lloret de Vistalegre, although its location and access are strongly oriented towards Sineu. The property combines good accessibility with peace, privacy and an extensive Mallorcan rural landscape. The estate comprises approximately 759,000 sqm of land. At its centre stands the historic main house, “Les Cases Velles”, a two-storey building complex with several living areas, porches and additional usable spaces. It is complemented by former stables, storage areas, agricultural buildings and large outbuildings. Around 920 sqm of residential space and a further approx. 823 sqm of agricultural building area are recorded. This substantial existing building stock offers remarkable development potential. Possible concepts include agritourism, retreats or other tourism-related uses, as well as events in the spacious outbuildings, always subject to the relevant planning and licensing regulations. Son Marrón also offers numerous possibilities as a private country estate, with ample space for individual projects. According to historical records, the origins of the estate date back to the 13th century. The area once formed part of the Islamic alquería Beni-Taref, documented as early as 1232. The buildings are surrounded by almond, carob and fig trees, wild olives, pines and holm oaks, as well as extensive pasture and agricultural land. With almost 76 hectares of land, around 1,700 sqm of recorded building area and an exceptional historic building complex, Son Marrón offers potential far beyond that of a conventional finca. Returns from holiday lettings: For initial orientation you can use the “Porta Holiday Returns Calculator” without obligation to calculate your potential returns from holiday letting. NB: Due to the current legal situation it is possible that in certain municipalities renting restrictions may apply, or new touristic licences may not be granted. Your Porta Mallorquina real estate consultant will be pleased to advise you whether the property you have chosen is affected. Go to Returns Calculator. Location & surrounding area: Lloret de Vistalegre is one of the most authentic villages in the heart of Mallorca, surrounded by an expansive Mediterranean landscape. The area offers tranquillity, privacy and genuine rural living without feeling isolated. Particularly appealing is its proximity to Sineu, whose historic centre, restaurants and well-known weekly market are just a few minutes away. The location therefore combines the best of both worlds: the space and peacefulness of the Mallorcan countryside with immediate access to one of the most attractive towns in the centre of the island.
