Description

Details: Located in one of Calatrava’s most picturesque lanes, framed by flowers and beautifully restored façades, just a few steps from the sea and the historic city walls, this charming duplex penthouse enjoys a truly special setting. The property is arranged over 2 levels and stands out for its exceptionally bright and welcoming atmosphere. White ceiling beams, original elements of Mallorcan Marés stone and carefully selected details create a Mediterranean feel with the distinctive charm of Palma’s Old Town. The main living level features an open-plan living and dining area as well as a high-quality Nolte kitchen. A small balcony overlooking the idyllic Old Town lane adds a particularly charming touch and is a wonderful spot from which to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the neighbourhood. This level also offers a bedroom with custom-made built-in wardrobes, a modern shower room with high-quality Vola fittings and a separate guest WC. Wall heating in the living area provides additional comfort during the cooler months. A staircase leads to the upper level, featuring a further bright sleeping area with built-in wardrobes. The true heart of the penthouse is undoubtedly its private roof terrace. High above the peaceful lanes of the Old Town, it offers beautiful views across the rooftops of Calatrava towards the sea and Palma’s impressive Cathedral. A shaded dining area, an HPL summer kitchen and a cosy lounge corner create different spaces for enjoying life outdoors. The combination of tranquillity, sea and Cathedral views and the historic backdrop of the surrounding Old Town houses makes this outdoor space a truly special retreat in the heart of Palma. An exceptionally charming Old Town penthouse for those who love authentic Palma and value tranquillity, private outdoor space and truly special views. Location & surrounding area: Palma's old town is ideal for those wishing to live in the midst of city life, with its small, sleepy squares, narrow alleys, wonderfully picturesque buildings, lively shopping streets and restaurants and cafes. In this part of the town something is always happening, and here the most places of interest can be found including the famous cathedral La Seu, built between the 14th and 19th centuries, the Arab baths, the Almundaina palace or the well-known nightlife-quarter La Lonja. The history of the capital of Mallorca can truly be felt here. Take a stroll down the narrow alleys of the old town of Palma and drink a coffee or a glass of wine on one of the little squares. Let yourself be enchanted by the charm of 'the pearl of the Mediterranean', and you will surely never forget Palma. Nearby is the 'Plaza Espana' from where there are connections to the very well-organised traffic system, no matter whether you are travelling by bus, train or taxi.
