Details:
This magnificent country manor dating from the middle ages stands on grounds with an area of 100,000 sqm, totally concealed and in complete privacy, located between Llucmayor and Es Trenc.
On the land next to the residential buildings excavations have been carried out revealing Phoenician columns and prehistoric stone houses, usually only exhibited in archaeological museums.
Over a long period this finca has been restored, and now shines in a new light with all modern amenities and features. The property includes the main house which has a beautiful, fully accessible observation tower connected to an adjacent building. This annex is in turn connected to two garages with space for a fleet of vehicles. The garages could alternatively be converted into an additional living area.
Cosy corners, idyllic patios and comfortable terraces are integrated into the property creating a pleasant oasis with historic character. The main house has a separate guest wing with terrace and stunning views of the landscape as far as the Isla de Cabrera. The living area of approx. 1,000 sqm is distributed in the main house on 2 floors (with lift) over 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 large living rooms with Mallorcan fireplace, a beautiful dining room, a fitted kitchen and various storage areas.
Features include hot/cold air conditioning, oil fired central heating throughout and double glazed windows and doors. The finca has its own water source, mains electricity, telephone and Internet. Only 20 min. from the airport, 25 min. from the island's capital Palma and 10 min. from the beautiful Es Trenc-beach, this Finca is ideally suited to enable a short-notice retreat from everyday life, although a comfortable home with so much beauty and splendour really deserves to be enjoyed throughout the year.
Location & surrounding area:
In terms of surface area, Llucmajor is the largest municipal county on the island of Majorca and is located in the south. Its population amounts to 20,000 inhabitants.
The small city includes 4 supermarkets, some well loved cafés and tapa-bars, and even a thrice-weekly fruit and vegetable market, taking place in the very recently renovated town centre, with its Plaza de España and the second largest church on the island.
The picturesque hill-location of Randa on the mountain of the same name, which is the most elevated point in the island’s centre, houses three sanctuaries, and is located slightly north of the town. Llucmajor has developed into an economic and popular residential location, due to the new motor-way connection to Palma.
The Marriott Son Antem Golf Resort and Spa, and nearby yacht clubs make Llucmajor an interesting and central location for planning pass-times and excursions.
The Es Trenc natural beach, one of the nicest on the island and with a Caribbean similarity, lies just 15 car minutes from Llucmajor.
